The creative sparks were flying for our #GeneracLove contest, and we love how you powered up your photos and videos. Everyone thinks about getting a #generator when a #storm is in the rearview, but the best time is really before the forecast darkens.

In January, wildfires swept through Southern California, destroying many homes and upending lives. You may not know that Generac had an office in the Pacific Palisades as well - home to part of our Clean Energy team. This is what remains. This isn’t about losing a building – or the years of work, research and equipment inside. This was a moment that showcased resilience of our people and our company. From ensuring employees had what they needed – housing, financial assistance and access to counseling – to an employee offering up his warehouse as a temporary workspace, to coming together as a team to clean, order equipment and set up operations. That’s in addition to employees helping each other and their neighbors with other day-to-day needs. Within three weeks, the team was back to building, testing and shipping products to take care of our customers. The building burned, but the Generac sign still stood. A symbol that together, we can rise from the ashes.
