We were glad to host this sharp group of local 10th-graders on a National Manufacturing Day field trip this week! Students across Macomb County, Mich., visited nearby companies to learn more about welding, engineering, manufacturing and related fields. We hope we inspired some of our visitors to work or intern here someday! Interested in an internship? Learn more at https://lnkd.in/gs4xyJY2. #NationalManufacturingDay

Thank you to the extraordinary team at DVD Event who made this years’ event such a success! Both days offered plenty of opportunities to meet with our customer, visitors and suppliers to discuss current programmes and future opportunities. The General Dynamics UK team showed the full current Ajax family of vehicles, Foxhounds including the latest version of the utility flatbed variant and the new General Multi-Role Vehicle (GMRV) variant, and Ford Rangers; a General Support Vehicle with military fit-out and a ‘special edition’ Ranger for select stakeholders. A range of cutting-edge demonstrations were shown in conjunction with Helsing and #CTAI including a live HUMS telemetry feed received from the AJAX and ARES on the dynamic off-road area, target hand-off and AI detection demonstrations screened in the portable workstation of the ATHENA variant, and the ever-popular Crew Turret Training simulator to offer a taste of the AJAX experience for those not able to enjoy the dynamic demonstrations first-hand. The Foxhound GMRV variant illustrated the platform’s unique adaptability due to its modular design, and showcased #MESHnet MPPS. #GDatDVD2024
