About us
The General Pulaski Association Inc. was founded to preserve the memory and the legacy of one of America’s greatest Revolutionary heroes, General Casimir Pulaski. Based in Buffalo, New York, The General Pulaski Association, Inc. hosts programs and events to honor General Casimir Pulaski who was a true American Hero and the “Father of the American Cavalry”. Pulaski, a Revolutionary War Hero famously wrote to George Washington in a letter in which he offered his services to America “I came here, where freedom is being defended, to serve it, and to live or die for it.” Pulaski would later be credited with saving Washington’s live and ultimately living true to his words and paying the ultimate sacrifice for America. Pulaski is the seventh (of eight) Honorary Citizen of the United States. The General Pulaski Association, Inc. is a New York State qualified not-for-profit corporation and is qualified as a public charity pursuant to I.R.C. 501(c)3.

Meet Ella Faith Naumowicz, the 2024 Pulaski Countess! Ella is eleven years old and is an active and adventurous young lady! She enjoys a variety of activities which include dance, track, Girl Scouts, band, and chorus! On top of all this, Ella is currently learning how to scuba dive! Ella has a rich Polish heritage. She is a former Polish folk dancer and in this role she was able to showcase her cultural pride and love for traditional Polish dance. A fun fact about Ella is that her favorite things are living creatures, especially insects and bugs! Ella’s fearless personality and wide range of interests makes her a perfect choice as the 2024 Pulaski Countess! #PulaskiCountess2024 #GeneralPulaskiAssociation

Meet Katrina Herrington, the 2024 Pulaski Princess! Katrina is six years old and loves spending time with her two beloved cats, attending swimming classes, and dancing! One of her favorite activities is making “potions” in buckets and creating AI art for her friends. Katrina’s Polish heritage is a significant part of her life. She loves attending Polish festivals and parades, making Polish food and cookies during the holiday season, and dancing polka with her pals! A fun fact about Katrina is that at the age of 6, she taught a class on Artificial Intelligence to adult data science students at Buffalo State College! Katrina’s vibrant personality and diverse interests make her a wonderful choice as the 2024 Pulaski Princess! #PulaskiPrincess2024 #GeneralPulaskiAssociation

On Thursday, May 2nd (Polonia Day) we'll come together to honor Unsung Men and Women of Polonia at Kloc’s Grove. Our honorees include: Fr. Bryan Zielenieski, Darlene Knutsen, Jessica Klaich, Diane Imbierowski Czajka, Maria Suplicki, Greg Olma, Ed Gawron, Henry Swiatek, and Bogdan Wisniewski. There will be a basket raffle and dinner program.
