GenerateHope is a safe place for survivors of sex trafficking to heal and find restoration.
About us
We serve sex trafficking victims by offering a real way out. GenerateHope is a faith-based organization providing long-term, comprehensive programs to women who have been sexually trafficked, so that they are able to reintegrate into society and walk powerfully into their futures. GenerateHope’s vision is to see survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation recover from the abuse and trauma of the sex trade. It is also our goal to educate our community and work with law enforcement and task forces to eradicate human trafficking.

It isn’t always easy to be generous, especially while living in one of the most expensive cities in the U.S. And young adults are often told that their giving doesn’t matter or have a big impact. But we believe that everyone — regardless of age or income — can bring hope and transformation to the darkest parts of our city. 🌟 Our young adults told us they’re especially passionate about the issue of human trafficking in San Diego. So we gathered with 3 goals — 💡LEARN (we heard from Keelin Washington at GenerateHope) 💸 GIVE (80% of ticket price went directly towards gifting survivors) 🎁 and DO (we created gifts for a fall-themed surprise for survivors). What a night! Together, we surpassed all of our hopes — 55 of 50 spots filled, and $2,806 pledged (+$1,300 *over* our goal!) to help support survivors in San Diego. 🥳 Thank you to all who attended & volunteered — you made this event possible!

Proud to attend the Fifth Annual Epiphany event in support of GenerateHope this past Friday. We heard some heart wrenching stories about the plight of the human trafficking scourge in San Diego and what can be done about it. Fantastic moderating duties by the incomparable Katy Temple! Thanks to Natalie L. Quirarte, CFP® and Lamar Rutherford, MBA for putting on this important event!

Inspire Light Founder🌻| Life Science Recruiter of Integrity🧬|💚Heart Lead & In Service for The People☀️
Today my family and I went to Broomfield Days Fair to support GenerateHope. They are raising money for their direct care and rehabilitation homes for survivors of human sex trafficking. For the past year I am honored to volunteer in their Colorado home. My intention to serve this organization is to learn from an established NPO that has a similar mission as Inspire Light. This experience has opened my eyes and heart as a survivor leader. It goes beyond just giving back and learning for the greater impact of Inspire Light’s mission. I have gained so much wisdom from Generate Hope’s case management, directors of development, resident guides, and the residents we serve. They are all leaders by example for unconditional love for a greater purpose. Thank you for educating our community by spreading awareness of #AntiHumantrafficking through holding space for survivors to heal, grow, and thrive in our society. 🙏🏽💕💐☀️🌻 #GiveHope #Volunteer #LearnAndGrowTogether #SurvivorLeader

Can't wait for this next event!
We believe in the next generation. We believe young professionals can be generous givers, too. That's why we ask for *their* opinion on our new initiatives. Since January this year, we've been inviting leaders in our community of young adults to share their ideas about how we can empower them to serve and give. We gather around the table to brainstorm together. It creates a beautiful space for honest feedback. Thanks to those meetings, we were able to host our first young adult event this spring. 90 people showed up (even in a 100* heatwave!) 😮 to help us support at-risk youth in San Diego. Now, we're planning our next event — a fall fundraiser focused on anti-trafficking efforts in San Diego. ⛓ We have 3 goals: 🗣 Learn - We'll engage in a Q&A with a trafficking survivor who can shed light on her journey, which has led her to leadership at GenerateHope 🤲 Do - We’ll make special fall decorations for the residents at Generate Hope to make their space cozy this season! 💛 Give - We'll work to reach our goal of $1,500 raised to support our trusted partners’ anti-trafficking programs! Just by signing up, each guest is already making a difference — 80% of ticket costs will go toward helping with survivor support. Join us! https://lnkd.in/dNVWj9xw

As CMOs, our role is to ensure that our strategies align with values and goals to drive meaningful progress. Extending this commitment beyond our daily responsibilities, we've established CMO CARES to leave a little good wherever we go. During our fall summit, we partnered with five local nonprofits in San Diego—San Diego Humane Society, GenerateHope, ElderHelp of San Diego, Promises2Kids, and Berry Good Food Foundation—to give back to the community. With an initial goal of raising $5,000, we are thrilled to announce that we exceeded this target thanks to the generous participation of our attendees. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Together, we are making a lasting impact and working towards a more compassionate future. 📸 :TLKmultimedia

So grateful for all the support from U.S. Bank!
What an absolutely amazing way to finish out my first week in my new role! Today with my new SBS family and the leadership team of Devon Bray, including many others who traveled from inland empire and LA helped the incredible non-profit organization GenerateHope. Well over 50 people from U.S. Bank joined together and showed what community possible is truly about. GenerateHope is a safe place for survivors of sex trafficking to heal and find restoration in long-term housing and trauma-informed therapy, education, and vocational support. “For to be free is not merely to cast off ones chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others” — Nelson Mandela #communitypossible
