Stadium design 🤝 scarf design Congratulations to the KC Current on being recognized in the VenuesNow 2024 Excellence in Concessions package. Designed by KC Current Graphic Designer Kyra Gross, the scarf features a digital sketch of CPKC Stadium and earned top recognition in the "Best Retail Item" category. This marks the first edition of the Best Retail Item category which seems perfectly fitting for CPKC Stadium, the first purpose-built stadium for a professional women’s sports team, designed by Generator Studio from the vision of Angie and Chris Long.

As Child Protection Center, Inc. Kansas City celebrates one year since moving into their new building, we're taking a moment to celebrate! It wasn't a "goodbye" but a "see ya later" for our former Architectural Intern Levi Newman who is now our newest Architectural Associate at Generator Studio! As a rendering and visualization pro, Levi strives to create impactful designs that provoke positive emotions in the end-user and his skills make him a great asset to the Generator Team, having already played a role in multiple sports venue projects. A graduate of Kansas State University, his passion for sports architecture stems from his love of sports. Levi grew up playing football, basketball, and baseball, with baseball always being his favorite. Nowadays, when he's not at the office, you can find him on the golf course, enjoying his new favorite competitive pastime. Welcome back, Levi!

Shoutout to our clients, the NY LIBERTY, who currently sit at the top of the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) standings heading into the All-Star break! Just in time for their 2021 season opener, we transformed their team suite inside Brooklyn's Barclays Center into a space that supports their needs and embodies the spirit of the city with new lockers, a player's lounge, and a redesigned shower and bathroom layout that features additional outlets, storage, and counter space. Best of luck to the Libs competing in the All-Star game this weekend!

Meet Taylor, our Interior Design Intern! Taylor is a student at the University of Kansas and will be a senior this Fall. For material boards, she loves to play with different textures and colors, while finding a cohesive hierarchy. "My favorite color is purple, especially with the neutral whites and grays. With this board, I also wanted to add a pop of fun color to give it some more character." With an Interior Designer as a mom, Taylor's interests in the industry hit close to home. Living in a house full of interior design magazines or books about art, she was surrounded by design and inspiration leading her on the pathway to interior design. When she's not spending time at the office, Taylor likes going on walks, diving headfirst into a new book, and playing pickleball with her roommates. You can likely find her listening to country music at any given time of day (yeehaw).
