Where Tomorrow's Workforce Begins
About us
Genesys Works is a national nonprofit that provides pathways to career success for students from underserved communities. We accomplish this through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and impactful relationships. The Genesys Works program consists of 8 weeks of technical and professional skills training, a year-long paid corporate internship, college and career coaching, and alumni support to and through college. Genesys Works is catalyzing change by opening doors of opportunity for underrepresented students. Our goal is to move more students out of poverty and into professional careers, creating a more productive and diverse workforce in the process. 2019 marked the expansion of Genesys Works to NYC, with our inaugural cohort of young professionals interning across the following 13 corporate partners: BlankRome; Fried Frank; Kirkland & Ellis; Lazard; Mizuho Americas; Per Scholas; Ropes & Gray; Salesforce; SEO; Skidmore, Owings & Merrill; Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp.; Warner Media; and Weil Gotshal. Since Genesys Works' founding in 2002, we have grown to serve over 4,400 students annually in Houston, Chicago, Minneapolis/St. Paul, the Bay Area, the National Capital Region, and now, New York City.

This past Friday, I wrapped up my summer internship at Accenture and couldn’t be more excited about the journey ahead! Being part of the Skills to Succeed Level Up program has been a game-changer, offering me the chance to work alongside talented peers from CUNY and engage with top professionals from Accenture, Microsoft, and TD Bank. A huge shoutout to the amazing leaders and friends who made this summer so impactful: Accenture: Marcus Hilton, Asli Pamir-Uzun, Marcus C., Ian Padgett, Abbi Berry, Isadora Martins, Jeannie Yoon, Isabel Esteviz, Brad Rossacci, Katie Gillaugh, Ben Lopez, Ali Kone, Annclair Cooper, PSM I, Malcolm Jeter, Lauren Faloni, Ishrat J., Jennifer Malach, MA, ACC, John Ratzan Microsoft: Tasha Morris, Rob Schapiro, Ting Ting Huang, Albert Dankwa III, M.A., Albert Burt, 🛡️Bryan Leon, Calicia Johnson, M.S.⭐, Jason Perez, Andrew Gully, Jocelyn Argueta TD: Jocelyn Weyrauch, Amr Elgwaily, Alan Nossen, Ali Abedini, Ralph Bumbaca Onward to new challenges and opportunities! 🚀 #AI #Summer2024 #Consulting #BusinessAnalyst #Accenture #Leadership
