Thank you The Wharton School for highlighting this important milestone!
A decade after its founding, the University of Pennsylvania’s President’s Engagement and Innovation Prizes continue to empower Penn undergraduate students to design and undertake post-graduation projects that make a positive, lasting difference in the world: https://whr.tn/4gRIR7l The Penn Gazette spoke with past prize winners, including several in the #WhartonGrad community, about how the awards enabled them to embark on social entrepreneurship journeys focused on issues like education, underprivileged communities, the gender leadership gap, and more. “The prize gave me the runway to say, “How can I turn this into a sustainable organization?,” says Katlyn Grasso (W’15), one of the prizes’ inaugural winners and founder of GenHERation®. “I didn’t have to get a full-time job and try to work on this on the side. I was really able to put my dream into action right away. It was a tremendous opportunity—the most transformational part of kickstarting my entrepreneurial journey.” Other featured #WhartonGrad winners: Griffin Amdur (W'18), Philip Chen (W'20), James McPhail (C’18, W’18), Meera Menon (W’20), Manoj Simha (W’22), Andrew Witherspoon (W’18)

GenHERation® Connection connects young women with leaders at innovative companies during a weeklong experiential learning program, each day highlighting a different industry. I was honored to be on the careers in media and entertainment panel, along with fellow industry leaders.
