Meet Jerry Bracey, our Marketing Intern and recipient of the Project Liftoff Scholarship at Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University. Since being introduced to this industry, I have learned that I have a passion for general aviation. I love the networking and relationships. People are not seen as clients but as family. I love the idea of being part of providing unique and tailored solutions to a wide array of clients. As the recipient of the Project Liftoff Scholarship at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, supported by Priester Aviation, I have had the privilege of developing a relationship with my mentor, Andy Priester, Chairman of George J. Priester Aviation. This scholarship has been a second chance for me for a long list of reasons. My internship has been an incredible journey of learning and growth. I've gained invaluable experience using platforms like Adobe Creative Suite and honing skills in social media best practices, photography, and more. These tools are not only preparing me for future success but also expanding my understanding of the aviation industry. Every day brings new lessons, from technical aspects to the intricacies of client interactions. Throughout this experience, I've developed a profound appreciation for the meaningful relationships between clients and employees. These connections are the backbone of our industry, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to witness and be a part of them.
