Ambassador Spotlight Series: Meet Luke Mansour Sr. For Luke Mansour, Sr., fostering a competitive business environment isn’t just a goal — it’s essential for Georgia’s continued success. As Senior Manager of Aflac Sales Technology in Columbus, Georgia, he’s dedicated to ensuring our state remains a leader in growth and opportunity. Having spent 20 years as part of the Team Georgia Chamber Campaign, Luke’s long-standing commitment is a key driver in the progress we see today. His enthusiasm for learning about the Chamber’s policy committees and the future direction of the state further highlights his leadership. Outside of his work, Luke enjoys time with his wife, Connie, and their three sons: Luke Jr. (32), Jackson (29), and Hal (26). The Team Georgia Chamber Campaign is fortunate to have Luke as an ambassador. His dedication to supporting Georgia’s growth and his eagerness to engage with fellow members make him a vital part of our team and an advocate for businesses across the state.

In the upcoming November election, Georgia voters will be asked to decide on two constitutional amendments and one statewide referendum. Constitutional amendments are changes to the Georgia Constitution that a majority of voters must approve, while referendums involve specific laws or policies that do not alter the constitution but still require voter approval. Visit gachamber.com/VoterGuide to read a summary of each measure.

  • Georgia is blessed to have nearly 200 local chambers of commerce working tirelessly day in and day out with their businesses and elected officials so their communities can thrive. Our local chambers weren't spared from the destruction of Hurricane Helene. We've heard heartbreaking stories from chambers across the state, including one that completely lost their office. As we mark National #SupportYourLocalChamber day, the Georgia Chamber is here to be a resource for all our chambers of commerce. We are proud to connect local chambers to local, state, and federal resources as they recover from Helene. If you want to support your local chamber of commerce, give us a call and we can connect you. For those looking to review our curated list of recovery resources, visit https://lnkd.in/d_zhe4Vs. No matter what is happening in the Peach State, the Georgia Chamber will always partner with local chambers of commerce across the state so we remain the number one state in the country to do business.

Access to healthcare is critical for Georgia's sustained economic development. We also know that Georgia is facing a shortage of healthcare workers: we will have at least 101,000 healthcare jobs open in the future and today, 36 counties are classified as having a high-need of primary care practitioners. Our President & CEO Chris Clark moderated a panel on culturally-responsive and person-centered care as part of the Agnes Scott College Women's Global Leadership Conference with Dr. Paula Bloom, Dr. Tawana Ware, Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice, and Dr. Jennifer Sciubba as speakers. The informative discussion highlighted solutions to some of Georgia's most critical healthcare needs. Thank you to Agnes Scott College for convening this important conversation. --- #WGLC24 Panel Speakers: Dr. Paula Bloom, Psychologist, Kaiser Permanente Dr. Tawana Lee Ware, DDS, MSD, Pediatric Dentist, Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice, President, Morehouse School of Medicine Dr. Jennifer Sciubba, Ph.D., President and CEO, Population Reference Bureau (PRB)
