Georgia-Pacific LLC's Palatka mill recently honored Joshua Maxwell with an award ceremony and lunch for his outstanding achievements. Joshua, a sophomore at the University of Florida, received a prestigious 2024 Koch Family Foundation Dependent Scholarship in recognition of his dedication to academics and community service. Hailing from a family rooted in Georgia-Pacific, Joshua is the son of Hank Maxwell, a product system leader at the Palatka facility. He was homeschooled and graduated from high school in May 2023, also obtaining his AA degree from St. Johns River State College the same year. Currently pursuing a degree in Geomatics - Land Surveying, Joshua embodies the values of hard work and excellence.
