Advancing cancer care through partnerships and innovation.

About us

The Georgia Center for Oncology Research and Education was created in 2002 to advance cancer care and improve access through partnerships and innovation. Collaboration orchestrated by Georgia CORE leads to promising clinical research, new treatments, screening and navigation focused on reducing cancer disparities. The public private partnership is led by a board of experts and survivors from cancer centers, academic institutions and public health organizations united in their commitment to strengthen Georgia’s national leadership in cancer by improving quality of care for patients and quality of life for survivors.
