Earlier this week, we hosted a Lunch and Learn for Halff at their offices in Fort Worth and Richardson (remotely). We had an engaging discussion covering geotechnical topics in civil engineering: Translating a Geotechnical Report – Breaking down complex data into actionable insights. Geotechnical Challenges with Public Infrastructure Projects – Addressing the hurdles of horizontal and vertical public works projects. We conducted a Lunch & Learn Presentation for TRC Companies, Inc. last week. It's amazing how fast time flies. Geotex Engineering quality speaks for itself. When you effectively communicate, request to team with us on projects, and consistently utilize our engineering services for over 10 years, you're more than just a client; we consider you family. We’re thankful that we had the opportunity to speak to their licensed Engineers, E.I.T.’s, and Interns. Our lunch and learns are not only geared to be informative for entry level engineering staff. We use this opportunity to provide insight to the mid-level and senior-level engineering staff as well. There’re always new obstacles that we’re faced with and overcome that we like to share with our current and future clients. This information may become beneficial in future pursuits. There could also be additional services that our current clients aren’t aware of prior to our lunch and learns that we aim to shed light on during these technical presentations. It was a good morning! Geotex was happy to pile on additional boxes of backpacks as Denton ISD gets ready for one of their Back-to-School Fairs. The Denton ISD Back-to-School Fair is a coalition of churches, schools, social services and civic agencies collaborating with the “for-profit community” to give those in need an opportunity to start the school year off right! As a “one-stop” destination, the fair helps prepare approximately 5,000 economically disadvantaged children to go back to school with many of their school-related needs, including free backpacks & school supplies.  Wishing Denton ISD students, teachers and staff a great 2024-25 school year! #gogeotex #geotexengineering #dentonisd #geotexk-12
