Early this year Dan Watts and I got invited to Detroit to meet with General Motors, just a couple of surf industry guys walking in to show off our inflatable products to one of the big three automotive brands. Quickly our nervousness turned into total excitement when the skeptical questions changed tone and we started talking about collaborations and future opportunities. In 2024 we will be going to market with our line of GET-FLATED Air-Toppers co-branded with some of the most recognized brand logos in the world. What a difference a year can make. Last year at this time, I rarely met a stranger that had heard of our brand GET-FLATED, or even knew that an Inflatable Truck Topper Was possible. Well, 365 days of grinding, promoting, creating content, a good digital strategy, Shark Tank, and most importantly happy customers across the country driving our products around..... This past weekend we had a couple trucks in the local Homecoming parade here in Missoula, and was wild how many times I could hear people on the side of the road saying "whoa, those are those inflatable truck caps", or "I saw them on Shark Tank" and best of all, I had one guy yell out "I've had one in my shopping cart for the past week". Anyhow, the grind can get exhausting and sometimes you just need to go to a local parade to realize the progress you have made. Thanks to my wife Kira Guay for walking in the rain the entire time to hand our candy and stickers. Also to my co-founders Dan Watts, Monique Keefer, and Ken Hoeve
