As we close out September and my first three months as President, I'm excited to highlight some of the major wins from the past quarter and give a glimpse of what's ahead for AMA San Diego! Since July 1st, we’ve been on a roll: - Membership Growth: Over 55 new members have joined our chapter in the last three months, bringing our membership to over 225! - Successful Events: We hosted three amazing ticketed events—Summer Social, Taylor Swift Experience, and CRM Platform Wars—along with free coffee meetups in July and September. - New Member Orientations: We kicked off monthly orientations to ensure every member maximizes their AMA benefits. - Leadership Expansion: We welcomed three phenomenal board members— Amanda Henderson, Sammi Beatrice, and Kayla Yap—who have already made impactful contributions to our chapter. Looking ahead, here’s what’s coming up: - Wednesday, October 9th: New Member Orientation with Jon Haber & Sammi Beatrice - Friday, October 25th: Our 3rd Annual Art of Marketing Conference (led by Nick Hofer and his incredible team)—don’t miss this marquee event for the San Diego marketing community! - Monday, November 11th: Our chapter will be part of SDSU AMA’s Marketing Conference.
