Gevo is thrilled to announce U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) conditional commitment of $1.46 billion to help finance the construction of our Net-Zero 1 (NZ1) alcohol-to-jet #SAF production facility in Lake Preston, South Dakota. As Representative Max Miller highlights in his most recent piece in Agri-Pulse, congressional support for extending the 45Z #SAF tax credit is critical. Rep. Miller argues for the ample opportunities sustainable aviation fuel will offer for American farmers and the economy. He also calls on Congress and the Administration to work together to extend tax incentives for SAF production. Last week Gevo's CEO Dr. Patrick Gruber was inducted into the National Academy of Engineering. Elected by the members of the NAE, Dr. Gruber's selection was based on his career accomplishments in bio-based fuels and chemicals. Included in the ceremony is the opportunity to sign the roll of members, a book that has been used for all of the approximately 2400 members of the organization. Dr. Gruber signed his name in the same book as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Neil Armstrong. Congratulations Dr. Gruber!

Today was a great conclusion to this year’s customer tours in Luverne. Harvest is a busy time, and we are thankful for the partnership with Feikema Farms on these educational events.
