Anyone else inspired by what they have seen in Paris so far? We must admit, the weather may not be perfect for a road race on a bike but is has been great for our business! (No, we didn't perform a rain dance!) It would seem the idea of getting from A to B in anything less than a perfectly secure, comfortable (and dry) S Class, SUV or similar is not one that interests our clients! Hurricane Beryl – an update. GGT HQ is still without power. That’s a big issue right? Not for us! Thanks to some excellent contingency planning and support we have seen no outward disruption to our service delivery. Something we are very proud of. What have we learnt so far? * Moving our IT to a cloud based system was 100% the right thing to do ** Using the ‘follow the sun’ approach to operations management has been worth every penny invested. Our UK team were able to offer full support to our clients as the USA team quite literally weathered the storm *** Employing the right people has paid off. Recruitment is so much more than a well written resume, the right experience or education. It is 100% about the right people. We have seen our teams rally together, with all areas of our business coming together to offer support. We don’t just employ people, we employ GGT people, and they are a cut above the rest! Through a combination of temporary office accommodation, remote working and our office in the UK we continue to offer our full suite of services, all over the world, without interruption or deviation. Did we mention the value in employing the right people? Just making sure we are clear on that. Our team ROCKS!

THE SAFETY OF OUR PEOPLE IS OUR PRIMARY CONCERN. As is being widely reported, Houston is currently being hit by Hurricane Beryl (don’t be fooled by the soft name). We have taken the decision to temporarily close our HQ. We are very fortunate to have a great operations team based in England, UK. Our operations remain unaffected as we fully utilize our true 24/7 global support coverage. They are doing a sterling job, keeping the wheels in motion while our US team stay at home, stay safe and look after their families. #nbaa #ebaa #privateaviation #businessaviation
