🐢 Say hello to Gochujang, the beloved turtle from Gimme Seaweed! A big round of applause to all participants of the SEA TURTLE CONSERVANCY, INC. Tour de Turtles race and an extra special cheer for our adopted turtle, Gochujang! We’re thrilled to announce that Gimme is once again sponsoring this special event, which plays a crucial role in protecting our cherished sea turtles. Sea turtles, much like seaweed, are vital to the health of our oceans helping to sustain ecosystems and distribute essential nutrients. Each turtle in the race is swimming to raise awareness about a specific threat to sea turtles. 🎉Last week the Gimme Seaweed team got together for our Annual Company Meeting in Tiburon, CA.🎉 This was our largest gathering to date, and we had a blast bringing together our incredibly talented and dedicated team. From celebrating our accomplishments, to planning our future, and we even snuck away for a few competitive rounds of Pickle Ball, Bocce Ball, Corn Hole and, of course, our Annual Dinner. It was an event sensation for all five senses!   We want to recognize all the hard work that went into putting together this event. And even more, we want to recognize all the hard work that every member of our team puts into their work every single day.🫶   Last but certainly not least, we are incredibly grateful to Stephen Broad and Annie Chun for hosting such a memorable gathering and for founding and running such an inspiring business. Meet our Summer Interns, Olivia Mount and Mia Slippy! 🎉☀️   Our interns are working to ensure Gimme Seaweed continues to be a super food that tastes super good all while figuring out how to best share our amazing seaweed with the world!  Our marketing intern, Olivia is utilizing AI to develop messaging to use across platforms while simultaneously honing in on product usage occasions and target personas! As operations intern, Mia helps with sensory testing, inputting data, and improving processes within the operations team keeping our product at the top of it’s game! Something that makes them feel SO GOOD? Olivia loves going in the ocean! She and seaweed have that in common! 🌊🌱 Mia loves spending time in nature. Nothing better than an outdoor go getter 💪🏞️   Not to brag, but the thing they’ve been loving most about working at Gimme is all the great people on our team - “it is such a supportive and uplifting environment.” 🥹🫶 And just in case you need a new flavor to try, Olivia AND Mia’s favorite flavor is our classic sweet and salty flavor… you guessed it… TERIYAKI! 💜🪩🌱 #gimmeseaweed,#teamwork, #teamappreciation, #internship
