About us
One of the wisest things society can do is empower today's girls. After all, girls and women make up 51% of the population! It is important for the women of tomorrow to be responsible, motivated adults who will inspire future generations to succeed. Since 1954, Girls Incorporated of Orange County has utilized research-based programs to transform the lives of thousands of girls by giving them the skills to become confident, successful, and independent women. By offering age-appropriate, research-based programs, Girls Incorporated of Orange County helps girls deal effectively with a variety of issues that they face in today's world. These programs give girls the confidence to do things previous generations of women have only dreamed of or not known were possible: pursuing careers in science, math, or technology; avoiding the traps of teen pregnancy, drugs, and violence; staying healthy in body and mind; and asserting their point of view with confidence. We are the people and the place that help girls succeed!

We had an incredible morning hosting our Anaheim Stakeholder Breakfast and Mixer, in partnership with Councilwoman Natalie Rubalcava-Garcia. Over 50 Anaheim leaders and community members gathered to hear about our transformative work being done to support youth in Anaheim. We shared key findings from the Anaheim Youth & Families Assessment, which highlighted the need for more STEM classes, college prep, social emotional learning, and career readiness programs—areas where Girls Inc. is already making an impact. A big thank you to Councilwoman Natalie Rubalcava, Carol Latham from the Anaheim Community Foundation (ACF), and our school partners Tanya Garcia and Ryan Ruelas for their support and partnership in making this event a success. Together, we’re making a difference for the youth and families of Anaheim! If you’d like to learn more about our work in Anaheim and how you can join our movement to reach and empower more girls, please reach out to Orleda Azevedo, Director of Corporate Engagement, at orledaa@girlsinc-oc.org. Let’s continue to make a lasting impact together! Lucy Santana, Jennifer Alban Seislove , Emerald Archer, Mayra Martin
