Every GOTR girl’s journey post-season is unique and filled with meaningful life lessons, discoveries, and experiences. For these five women, after participating in or supporting Girls on the Run, their paths – filled with endless hours of hard work – led to the same destination: the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Their journeys from local 5Ks to the world’s biggest stage show the power of determination and the importance of building confidence in girls. We couldn’t be prouder of these all-star athletes who fully embrace our core values and inspire future GOTR superstars everywhere to chase their dreams. I'm thrilled to share that Girls on the Run North Bay has been selected from hundreds of organizations to be featured in the inaugural the Giving List Women publication!  The book shares powerful stories of those improving our world by investing in women and girls, as well as those championing women and girls through work with men and boys. Did you know that less than 2% of total charitable giving goes to women’s and girls’ organizations? We are working to broaden and deepen our reach of supporters - big and small. Help us close the gap and consider donating your support today. We impact over 1100 girls in our 3 local counties, but nationwide Girls on the Run impacts over 200,000 girls in over 200 councils! But that's not enough and we need to do better. We are looking for sponsors for the Hello Superstar! Spring 2024 5K to be held on Sunday, May 5th at Mare Island in Vallejo! If you or your organization would like to support one of the Top 30 Social-Emotional programs in the U.S., as rated by the Harvard School of Education in 2017 and 2021, our girls would truly appreciate it! The deadline for your name or logo to be displayed on t-shirts is April 15th. Help us change lives, teach critical life-skills, and increase movement in 3rd through 8th grade girls in Napa, Solano, and Sonoma County where over 75% of our girls receive financial assistance!!
