Earning a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award in Girl Scouting opens up countless opportunities for all of those who choose to earn them. What started as one little free library turned into a citywide collection and international acclaim for Evelyn, who was recently given the Bol Award. This prestigious recognition comes after years of library building, literacy events, and grant-writing. Evelyn is one of just SIX international awardees, and is the only 2024 recipient from the East Coast of the United States. Congratulations!

CBT was proud to host Girl Scout Troop #67716 as they completed their “Juniors Who Build” program. A partnership between Suffolk Construction and Girl Scouts of Eastern MA, the program introduces young adults to design and construction while also promoting gender equality and representation within the industry. The Scouts designed their own treehouses, went through a cost estimating and bid leveling exercise, and learned about jobsite safety, project planning, and trades. The day wrapped with an office tour, treats, and mini golf on the roof deck!
