About us
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs throughout, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.

Congratulations to one of our newest Gold Award Girl Scouts, Megan Katsirebas 🎉! When a historical one-room school house started becoming a risk to those who used it due to it's dire need of repairs, Megan stepped in to not only get the building fixed but to also educate the community on the importance of the building. She recruited a team to start on repairs and created posters to teach locals about the building. Awesome job!

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains is grateful for all Sue Rochford has given to Girl Scouts, and we're proud to call her our Volunteer of the Month💚! Truly a jack of all trades, Sue has done it all from troop leader to trainer and everything in between. Sue encourages adults to get involved, not only for the experience, but it's a great way to bond with their child, saying "Being able to spend time with my kids, quality time teaching skills creating those memories that they will remember forever."

At Girl Scouts, we believe in the power of every girl to make a difference. That’s why the National Civic Action: Promote the Vote is helping girls learn about the democratic process and civic engagement. Though they may not yet vote, their voices are crucial in shaping our democracy. This is how you and the Girl Scout in your life can get involved: https://lnkd.in/eU7MuCar
