We are incredibly excited to welcome Jack Hedaya to the team! 🎉 Jack is a senior backend engineer at Chariot. He's Brooklyn born-and-raised but will take any opportunity to enjoy a beach day and travel. Before Chariot, Jack worked for Capital One on its small business data team, where he maintained the business lookup and search APIs. His favorite feature was hierarchical visualization, allowing users to capture a business's parent, siblings, etc. Jack's favorite nonprofit is Friendship Circle, where he rode 900 miles in 3 weeks to raise money for children with special needs.

What advice do DAFs have for nonprofit fundraisers? 🤔 Chariot hosted a roundtable discussion on this topic at the DAF Giving Summit between top nonprofit fundraisers and DAF providers. Nonprofit leaders kicked off the session by outlining some of the biggest challenges they face with donor-advised funds. 2025 is a big year for philanthropy in Congress - and there’s a critical role for nonprofits to play in the conversation 🗣️ Last week, Chariot sponsored the DAF Giving Summit, where a panel of Donor Advised Fund CEOs shared their thoughts on ways for nonprofit leaders to get more effectively involved in Advocacy for the sector.
