The Portland metro area's guide to doing good.

About us

Give!Guide is Portland's easiest path to end-of-year giving. The campaign begins on November 1 and closes at midnight December 31. It's Willamette Week’s annual effort to raise funds for — and draw attention to — the good works of local nonprofits. G!G has raised more than $64 million for hundreds of local nonprofits since inception in 2004. Last year’s campaign raised $8.35 million for 250 local nonprofits! G!G is supported by hundreds of local businesses, provides healthy incentives to donors, and emphasizes giving by Portlanders under the age of 36 to build a culture of citizen engagement.

  • Friends! We are so close to officially kicking off our 2024 Give!Guide campaign. We’re pretty excited—but we want to ensure you are too. And, in our opinion, nothing gets the excitement pumping more than Big Give Days. 😌 Here’s a sneak peek at this season's upcoming Big Give Days. If you’re new here, BGDs are a fun way to help nonprofits reach their fundraising goals. Donating to your favorite nonprofits on a BGD will automatically get you entered to win exciting prizes from our community partners. ✨ Our first Big Give Day lands on the official kick off date of Nov. 1; donate $10 or more and you’ll throw yourself in the running to win two tickets to Billie Eilish’s concert at the Moda Center this December. 💙 Consider this your official warning! Mark your calendars and set your alarms, because Give!Guide 2024 is almost here. 🗓️🎉

In a remarkable display of generosity, the Portland metro area has once again showed their commitment to community support. As of midnight on January 1, 2024, Willamette Week's Give!Guide has raised an impressive $8.3 million to bolster 250 local nonprofits and elevate the well-being of the community. This surpasses the initial $8.25 million goal set for the campaign. This incredible achievement is due to the support of 16,639 donors. The majority of donations were just $10, which speaks volumes about how much people care about where we live. https://lnkd.in/ghN_5XhB
