Exciting week as our student interns from various local universities are starting to pour in! Represented schools here on campus will be Grand Canyon University, Midwestern University, Northern Arizona University, Brookline College, and Maricopa Community Colleges. We absolutely love our student interns here at Glencroft!!

With the 2024 Olympics off and running we thought we would share this stat from the American Lung Association. This statistic proves that no matter what you want to achieve, physical challenges shouldn’t stop you from obtaining your goals. Not surprisingly, our residents share a similar mindset to the highest level athletes on the planet! Don’t let circumstances dictate what you are capable of!!

Packed house today as our fearless leader, CEO John T., delivered a very informative Town Hall for our residents. With so many amazing projects and events happening on our campus, these kind of town hall meetings are critical for communicating accurate and timely information.

Big night on campus as “Let’s Make a Deal” brought out all the crazy antics from our staff and residents! People ask us all the time, what is the secret to successful aging and we say simply “DON’T ACT YOUR AGE!!!!”

Another successful food pantry for our residents this morning! So happy that this is the norm on our campus, scooters filled with fresh fruit and vegetables! “You are what you eat” isn’t just a saying; it goes so far in our pursuit of successful aging!

Another great Glencroft orientation in the books. So much fun getting to see the excitement that our new employees have for coming to work at our little slice of senior living heaven!

It’s happening!!!!! Selections for our ZoeLife Anti-aging Program this fall is taking place this AM! With over 65 residents vying for 22 spots in the program, this is going to be one heck of a win for those that get their name pulled! The good news for those that don’t get their name picked is they get to jump in on a different program involving our Red- Light Therapy equipment starting July 22nd!!

Last week Glencroft had the privilege of hosting our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. This dinner is one of the highlights of the year since it pays tribute to our many regular campus volunteers who play a vital role in making our Glencroft Center for Modern Aging ship run! To give some perspective to the volume of volunteers on our campus…. In 2023 we had 190 residents as registered volunteers. These 190 residents gave a total of 22,249 volunteer hours to our campus! To put a dollar value on that number of volunteer hours it would equate to over $700,000! Special shout out to our top 7 volunteers who accrued the most hours for 2023: 1. Gerry Beamon 1172 2. Today’s neuropathy immersion program post-test evaluation day was a huge success. For our 26 residents from independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing it was a day jam packed with success story after success story. We, at Glencroft, are so proud of all of the participants but very, very proud of those residents from our skilled nursing building that signed up and completed this rigorous 6 week program!🎉🎉🎉🎉
