A monumental afternoon on our campus yesterday as we had the official retirement of our long-standing Chaplain Stan Florez and the induction of our brand new Associate Chaplain Gary Miles. First we want to thank Stan for his 5 years of service to Glencroft. Stan was critical to the campus in so many ways and his servant leadership was on display each and every day! Finally, we are so excited about our new campus Chaplain Gary Miles! Gary has been a fixture on this campus for the last 15 years, dedicating his life to the activities department of our skilled nursing building. Ministry, however, is his calling, and we are so excited that all of the hard work he is doing at Grand Canyon University for his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies has culminated in this amazing opportunity to oversee our Spiritual Pilar of ZoeLife and be our Campus Chaplain! Stan and Gary, best of luck to you both!

We had a very special lecture today at Glencroft University! One of our very own exercise science interns, Hunter Marshall from Glendale Community College, gave an amazing presentation on the therapeutic benefits of audio therapy. This dynamic class taught us the many benefits of using audio therapy for mental health, relaxation, and brain stimulation. Thank you Hunter!

This years annual employee-of-the-year award was hard fought. In the end a unanimous decision was made and we offer our sincerest congratulations to our activities “everything”Tiffany Foss. This campus thrives because of our amazing activities department and it could not function without this amazing employee! Congratulations Tiffany on this award, it is much deserved!

Bittersweet day on our campus as we concluded an amazing 6 weeks with fabulous nursing students from Gramd Canyon University. This was a win-win-win for the students, our residents, and our campus! The pause in the programming will be short-lived as we have another batch of nursing students from GCU starting next Thursday! We are also pleased to announce that we have become the flagship destination for GCU’s Population Health clinical rotation. This means we are going to be the number one destination for GCU nursing students for years to come! 💜💜

Special day on our campus celebrating the Sarah’s Place Memory Care building remodel. We had two special dedications of the state-of-the-art therapy kitchen that was fully funded ($266k) by Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS). The morning session was for residents and their families, while the afternoon session was for the placement agencies and the public. This program, in addition to all the wonderful offerings available to our memory care residents, makes Glencroft truly one of the most unique and cutting edge facilities in the country!

Bittersweet day on our campus as we got to say a formal goodbye to one of our most treasured employees, Kaye Baker. Kaye leaves a legacy that will forever change Glencroft. Of all the hats she wore on our campus, there was one constant - her smile and willingness to serve not “our residents” but HER FRIENDS. Thank you, Kaye, for the heart you have for our campus! We are forever grateful for your time here. We are absolutely better for it.

An amazing day on our campus as the Curana Health Clinic officially opened. The partnership with the Curana Clinic is such a win for our campus and most importantly for our residents. We are so excited for both the healthcare services and the amazing team that Curana is specifically designating to our campus. Thank you to so many who worked very hard to make this state-of-the-art clinic, from behind the scenes to all the labor involved in making this place what it is. We thank you! Curana Health
