Introducing Rachael Mackin, Assistant Property Care Manager! Rachael joined Glengate earlier this year as a Floral & Fine Gardening Team Leader, and has now taken on a new role in our Property Care division. Prior to Glengate, she spent nearly a decade at a boutique interior and landscape design firm in Greenwich, CT. And before that, she worked in brand marketing and strategy for several luxury cosmetics companies. Rachael lives in Weston with her family. We are pleased to announce the addition of two talented professionals to Glengate’s award-winning Design Studio: Senior Project Designer Christa Otto and Associate Designer Hannah Chambers. Christa Otto joins us with a wealth of international experience, having worked with renowned landscape architecture firms in both the UK and her native South Africa. Before relocating to Greenwich, Christa also led her own landscape design company, further honing her expertise in delivering exceptional outdoor environments. Hannah Chambers, a recent graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Landscape Horticulture and Design, brings fresh perspectives alongside practical experience in landscape maintenance and construction. Her strong foundation in both design and hands-on work will be a valuable asset to our clients and projects. Last week, we held a lunch and learn for our pool construction and renovation associates to thank them for the incredible work they do building and renovating our clients' pools, and to illustrate the process of how designs are conceptualized in our studio and put into plan. After lunch and informational sessions, we visited two finished projects. Our teams don't often get to see designs in their completion; once they finish a pool, they move right on to the next! It was valuable for all involved to have the opportunity to look at the process from all angles. Thank you Senior Project Designer Nick Ackerman, Human Resources Associate Maria Sanchez, Associate Project Designer Matthew Barrios, and Marketing Director Florence Kane for organizing and thank you to all at Glengate who helped facilitate this important event.

Our Maintenance Operations Manager – and floral designer extraordinaire – Jennifer Gazerro, instructed the Garden Club of New Milford on how to create colorful autumn arrangements. Thank you, Jenny, for sharing your talents with this community!

Congratulations to Jessica M. Scott, our incredible pool care operations manager! She has been nominated for Aspire Software's Trailblazer Award. This award recognizes a current Aspire customer - either individual, team, or organization - who has adopted the Aspire platform in such a way to support a unique aspect to their business or drive success in a unique and new way. The winner will have utilized the Aspire software (and possibly integrations or partners) in a creative way beyond traditional use-cases in landscape and commercial cleaning. The results led to fundamental shifts in one way or another - either financially, operationally, structurally, etc. or brought an entirely new aspect to their business. Well done, Jessica. And thank you, Aspire, for the much-deserved recognition.
