PRESS RELEASE GO GLOBAL CONFERENCE CONCLUDES WITH OVER $2 MILLION IN BUSINESS DEALS Atlanta, Georgia – October 23, 2024: The Go Global Conference, organized by the Atlanta Black Chambers (ABC) Global Opportunities Committee, concluded in Atlanta with over $2 million in business deals closed during both the physical B2B sessions and the virtual conference, which ran simultaneously. These deals span multiple sectors and reflect the growing momentum for international collaboration among Black-owned businesses globally. The conference brought together business leaders and delegates from across the globe, including Zimbabwe, the UK, Columbia, Ethiopia, South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Nigeria, Zambia, Haiti, Guyana, Suriname, and more, fostering meaningful international business connections. The delegation was welcomed with a grand reception hosted by the Mayor of Atlanta, Andre Dickens, who praised the city's strategic position as a hub for international trade and investment. The multi-day event featured a dynamic mix of B2B matchmaking sessions, a virtual conference with diverse speakers knowledgeable in international trade, site visits to prominent businesses, and networking cocktail events, offering delegates hands-on opportunities to explore potential partnerships and investments. Speaking on the outcome of the conference, Melvin Coleman, President/CEO of the Atlanta Black Chambers, emphasized the significance of the conference for global Black-owned businesses: “The Go Global Conference has once again proven that Atlanta is a prime destination for international business and trade.
