Meet the Global Community Capital Team: Robert Sigler is the CEO and Managing Partner of Global Community Capital and is the Founder of Global Trust Group, an association of Founders & Experts focused on supporting innovation and enterprise in economic, social and environmental impact. Driving this mission, he has founded & co-founded an array of strategic and financial enterprises including Global Trust Ventures and the Global Community Capital Venture Management platform, with 35 years of experience in accounting, finance, investment banking, M&A, capital markets, private equity & venture strategy and management. Robert has published in corporate governance with Dr. Stobaugh of the Harvard Business School and has an MBA from Harvard with joint coursework at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Kennedy School of Government and a BS from the U. of Alabama’s Culverhouse School of Accountancy, graduating with top honors in both business and arts & science, Phi Beta Kappa & Beta Gamma Sigma, Summa Cum Laude with a combined perfect 4.0 overall GPA. He served as a senior global analyst at SC Bernstein, I-banker for CS First Boston's NYC M&A Group and in the international tax group of Price Waterhouse - Atlanta, and as one of 6 national post-graduate research fellows of the US Financial & Governmental Accounting Standards Board also working in the public and private sectors in service of the community as an international US Senate Scholar appointed by Senator H. Heflin and Gov. Wallace and appointed by Gov. Riley honorary Lt Col. of the AL State Militia with extraordinary service awards for the Veterans Administration and is a Limited Investing Partner of IronGate Capital Advisers providing capital & expertise to companies and VC partnerships for dual-use technologies that strengthen the national security of the United States. Robert co-owns and has co-founded numerous businesses in regulated and diverse industries and is a co-founding investor & board member (B) to successful companies including Databouy (B), Nautical Control Systems, Amaze Technologies, Alfred Intelligent (B), Infomatics.AI (B), Desilux, Pex, RivetingEntertainment (B), Neuroptics, RaiseTheMoney (B), Control Flo Medical (B), etc. He served as a CalSEED innovation program advisor & judge supporting energy entrepreneurs in early-stage concepts ushering in a new era of sustainability.
