The recent elimination of more than 90% of USAID’s foreign aid contracts—cutting $60 billion in development and humanitarian assistance—has left countless community-led organizations without the critical funding they rely on to serve those most in need. Yet, in the face of uncertainty, local leaders continue to show up. They remain committed to providing food, medical care, education, and disaster relief to their communities—because they know what’s at stake. Through the GlobalGiving Community Aid Fund, we’ve been able to offer emergency grants to 14 local, vetted nonprofit partners across eight countries—helping them navigate these sudden funding losses and continue their vital work. Here’s what’s happening through your support: 🔹 In Uganda, Kawempe Home Care is ensuring women and children battling HIV, tuberculosis, and cancer continue receiving lifesaving care. https://bit.ly/3DfMjtx 🔹 In Honduras, Red COMAL is finding new ways to sustain its work with Indigenous farming communities. https://bit.ly/4hYNVXw 🔹 In Yemen, Support Yemeni Society Organization for Development is holding on to its mission of providing emergency food to young girls in rural communities despite drastic funding cuts. https://bit.ly/41CPrsX One of our partners, alignAfrica, shared this message: "Your support through the Community Aid Fund goes beyond financial assistance—it is a powerful gesture of solidarity that reassures us we are not alone in our mission." https://bit.ly/4ijoQqi We continue to hear from our partners, and one thing is clear: the strength of change leaders around the world is unwavering. Their work doesn’t stop—and neither does our commitment to them. We stand with the change leaders who are forging a path forward—because their courage and commitment are shaping the future we all believe in. https://bit.ly/4jHINs9 #Nonprofit #Donate #Charity #Community #Fundraising #USAID #Humanitarian
