Cartken is officially the first autonomous delivery robot approved for nighttime operations on public roads in Japan! 🎌🌙🤖 A huge thank you to our amazing partner, Mitsubishi Electric, for not only guiding us through the legislative process but also facilitating the rollout of our technology across various use cases. Here’s what our robots are already up to in Japan: 🥙 Delivering food with Uber Eats 🛒 Transporting groceries with Rakuten 📄 Shuttling documents in offices 🛠️ Moving parts in factories It's an exciting time for Cartken as we continue to expand in Japan! #robotdelivery #deliveryrobot #autonomousvehicle

Cartken’s first-ever IRL all-hands in Munich was a blast! 🇩🇪🥨 We brainstormed fresh strategies to drive Cartken forward, got to know each other’s work styles, and drank way too much coffee. Between hiking in the Bavarian Alps, eating Munich schnitzel, racing go-karts, and even our own robot carts (just for payload testing—don’t try this IRL! 😆), it was an unforgettable few days. For a lot of us, it was our first time meeting in person, and we built some great connections. Exciting things are on the way, so stay tuned! #allhands #startup #robotics

🛬 We’re thrilled to touch down at Flughafen Wien - Vienna Airport to support their efforts in streamlining airport intralogistics! Cartken robots assist in moving cargo manifest documents within the air cargo terminal, making the process more efficient. Currently, the documents are transported via a conveyor belt system, which presents challenges for customization and adapting routes. With Cartken robots, the airport staff sees an opportunity to improve network connectivity and optimize document deliveries. Looking forward to driving innovation together! 🙌 #intralogistics #deliveryrobot #intralogisticsautomation
🚀 Exciting innovation in the cargo sector! Our team at Flughafen Wien - Vienna Airport is currently testing the Cartken Model C robot – an autonomous delivery robot that independently delivers documents and navigates obstacles. With a load capacity of 14 kilograms, a top speed of 6 km/h, and a battery life of 14 hours, this little helper is bringing efficiency and flexibility to our workflows. This project demonstrates how technology can streamline our processes! 💡 #Innovation #Cargo #Automation #AutonomousTechnology #Efficiency #Logistics #Teamwork #CartkenRobot

It's a simple task, yet current technologies on the market struggle to perform it efficiently. We’re talking about seamless navigation between outdoor and indoor spaces. You’ve probably seen mobile robots operating within warehouses or moving pallets outdoors. But what about a robot that can do both—transporting materials from one building to another? That’s the challenge the Cartken team is taking on. We’re creating an autonomous robot platform powered by computer vision, AI, and sensor fusion, ready to redefine how material handling is done. #robotdelivery #materialhandling #intralogistics

Congratulations to our campus partner Grubhub on their remarkable growth, expanding mobile ordering to over 60 campuses. 🚀 It’s been an exciting journey collaborating to bring convenient food robot delivery to students, and running the largest robot delivery program in the U.S. at The Ohio State University. Our shared commitment to user-friendly technology and top-tier service has driven a 70% increase in robot deliveries across campuses this past academic year. Kudos to the Grubhub team—let’s keep innovating the campus dining experience! #campusdining #robotdelivery #diningoperations
We caught up with Rob DelaCruz, Vice President and General Manager of Grubhub’s campus business, just in time for students and faculty return to campus across the country for the start of the fall semester. He shares his perspective on the campus business evolution over the past year, his team’s record achievements for the 2023-2024 school year, and his approach to fostering a culture that continues to drive momentum. Ahead of the school year, we added more than 60 new university partners, and now reach more than 4.5 million students who can connect their meal plans to Grubhub to skip the line when they order food from on- and off-campus restaurants. We’ve also grown the number of campus partners using our innovative services and solutions that redefine the campus dining experience, including robot delivery, Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology and Topanga.io reusable containers.
