Certain modules in the A+ builder will be marked with “AI ready.” All you need to get started is the ASIN, but you can use Image and Text Prompts to get better results. As always, it’s up to you to verify that the output is accurate and follows Amazon’s guidelines! HOLIDAY LOGISTICS | PEAK FULFILLMENT FEES A reminder that the holiday peak fulfillment fees for FBA started October 15th and run through Jan 14th, 2025. To see how your products might be affected see this table showing the increases on this link. BRAND TAILORED COUPONS | PED REFERENCE PRICE Your Black Friday / Cyber Monday Prime Exclusive Discount has to be lower than the lowest price paid over the last 30 days (”Reference Price”). This move will nearly double the referral fees on products priced between $10-$15. If you have electrolytes in your catalog, be sure to check your listings and update your margin analysis or attempt to move categories before the fee change hits. note that a top category shift will have impacts on how your organic traffic (category merchandising) and automatic ad campaigns work, so ensure you check performance before an after for any changes. Basically, if someone spends X dollars, they will get 25% of it back in credit! Huge for new product launches or products with little reviews. 1) When submitting new creative on the DSP ad console, you can choose between REC or Rewarded ads in the "Ad experiences" section. 2) Then, at the bottom, you can set your purchase value and the 25% reward credit is automatically calculated. When launching a new product, offer a coupon on the new product to the audiences titled 'Repeat Customers', 'Top Tier', and 'High Spend Customers'. This encourages discovery and conversion among your most loyal Amazon customer segments! 🌀 VARIATIONS | VINE AND TWIST A great tip to maximize reviews on ASIN variations. You can enroll products in vine, then immediately twist them with other variations before the vine reviews are complete. When creating a variation for these products without knowing that they had been enrolled in vine. We had 7 vine reviews total the day they were twisted, and a few days later there were 21 combined.     Cartograph's Weekly Tips and Tricks for Selling on #Amazon ⌛AGING INVENTORY | CONTROL YOUR SELL THROUGH If you are like many folks in the Amazon environment with stock close to expiring, you might be interested in getting Amazon to allocate the older stock first. How though? If you create a new SKU for fresh inventory, you can better track and control ’best by’ dates in the following ways: 1. When you open bin checks, you can specify which Best By Date. 2. You can close the freshest inventory SKU to sell through older inventory. 3. Overall, Best By Date tracking is just better especially if you experience frequent account health flags for product expiration. 💾 STORAGE FEES | CALCULATE FEE CHANGES Many folks have seen all of this year’s fee changes around Amazon’s logistics. Q4 will mark yet another shift during peak fulfillment, but how can you plan for fee changes and build it into your cost model for better awareness?     Cartograph's Weekly Tips and Tricks for Selling on #Amazon 🔭 BRAND STORES | AMAZON UPGRADING BRAND STORE FEATURES - Amazon is offering a new DTC (direct-to-consumer) format for the top 1% of Amazon sellers, similar to how A+ content was initially only available for top sellers. - This new brand store format includes features like wide-screen video, moving elements, and the removal of the old menu bar. Brands like Anker and Mary Ruth's are already using these new capabilities. - This gives brand owners another tool to utilize design as a competitive edge over their competition on Amazon. Amazon is aiming to be both a Shopify competitor and a social media platform. - If Amazon finds that this DTC-style brand store format converts better, they may eventually roll it out to all sellers, similar to how A+ content became available to all sellers over time.   🎫 SUPPORT TICKETS | SPECIALISTS - Recently when opening new support tickets, Amazon will provide you with a list of specialists who can help you with that you can choose from. - It includes their capabilities and their experience! - Specializations include attribution updates, feeds/inventory updates, featured offer issues, and all other selling on amazon questions! From October 15, 2024, to January 14, 2025, the holiday peak fulfillment fee will be applied to FBA (excluding apparel), apparel, and dangerous goods. On January 15, 2025, FBA fulfillment fees will revert back to the non-peak period rates. The range on items excluding apparel can be anywhere from $0.19 to over $8.51 depending on size tier and weight. The heavier the item, the larger the increase. Its real. Based on the LinkedIn post by Judah Bergman, here are the key points summarized in 4 bullets: 1) Amazon is omitting star ratings and reviews from many search results on their app, requiring consumers to rely on alternative signals like "2k bought in the last month" or Amazon's choice/best seller tags. 2) Reviews are now only visible on the product page after the item is clicked, leading to questions about whether Amazon is moving away from reviews as a key shopping signal. 3) Experts have mixed views - some see this as a temporary test, while others believe Amazon is adapting the display of reviews to balance the influence of potentially fake reviews and improve the shopping experience. 4) The change could impact click-through rates, conversion rates, and advertising costs for sellers, as consumers may have to do more "window shopping" without the immediate star rating signal. If deemed new, they go right back into your inventory. 2) Selective Evaluation: You can choose to have only certain ASINs evaluated. Just upload a list, and Amazon will check these returns for sellability. Items not on the list will be considered defective and unfulfillable. 3) Disable Evaluation: You can opt out entirely. All returned items will be marked as defective and unfulfillable, bypassing any chance for reimbursement if damaged.
