    Another milestone in cannabis normalization and destigmitization. ✅ Attendees of the CA State Fair now have the opportunity to fully experience the cannabis products they learned about inside the educational exhibit. It’s been incredible to engage, interact and educate such a massive audience coming from all over our state. We’re seeing people’s eyes light up— some are long time advocates and consumers, others are exploring their curiosities. All kinds of people, from all walks of life coming together. That’s what makes cannabis so beautiful.     Devil's Lettuce is back! Last year, we launched Devil's Lettuce on Friday the 13th as a seasonal release. I remember having some nerves around it. (Late-night side quests will do that to you!) But it quickly became one of our best sellers and brought our team together. In a market where everyone’s selling the same thing, I truly believe there’s power in the stories we tell and the creativity that brings them to life. Devil’s Lettuce was created for our team. We wanted to make something that would: -- Get them stoked -- Help them understand the history -- Make them smile and laugh -- Give them something to talk about with customers, friends, and family It’s the rebellious, cheeky, and kind of over-the-top side of Embarc. It has a sense of humor, isn’t afraid to challenge the norms, and maybe has a soft spot for all things nostalgia. 😄 At Embarc, our mission is simple: to break down barriers and showcase how this plant can positively impact communities. We do this by spending real time with our community—listening, understanding, and demonstrating through our actions that this industry—and everyone in it—truly stands apart.     Granny gets High 😶🌫️ at the State Fair! When I found out we were doing the State Fair my mind started racing with content deas. See, the Cannabis Cafe, and other consumption experiences are designed for enthusiasts. The same goes for traditional cannabis events. These events attract a crowd that is *intentionally* seeking out cannabis. But the State Fair is another world. We knew this was an opportunity to show how wholesome this plant is and all of the different types of people who enjoy it and are curious about it. [enter Granny Thelma and Zen] Granny Thelma has been enjoying the California State Fair for YEARS, but has never seen or experienced anything like this. Zen is a musician and cannabis connoisseur (previously a lead at our Redwood City shop). We walked her through the exhibit where she got to learn about the history of cannabis, took her out to the dispensary and then brought her to the consumption area where she got to hang out, have a beverage and a gummy while soaking it all in. I couldn’t stop taking photos and b-roll of the experience; seeing Granny Thelma and Zen have a genuinely sweet and authentic experience was amazing.     I have been quiet on here lately as I’ve been heads down working on the biggest project we’ve taken on yet - sales and consumption at the CA State Fair. This is a huge deal for so many reasons, including that this is a massive step forward in our collective push for ongoing normalization. The scale of this is hard to describe. It's GO TIME for seventeen days, starting today. I am so, so grateful to our team, our partners and the brands that have come together to bring this to life. To be doing this in my hometown makes it all the more special. So if you see a pregnant lady hobbling and wobbling around the California Cannabis Experience with a huge smile on her face, come say hi! That’s me and I’d be stoked to meet you.
