  • Yesterday, October 2nd was Gandhi's birthday. It's his 155th Birth Anniversary. Timing worked out. We had scheduled Dr. veena howard, Ph. D. to speak at our weekly Golden Gate Breakfast Club (GGBC) meeting without knowing that. Dr. Howard presented information about Gandhi: India and Beyond the Ancient Traditions. It was enlightening. Marcus has also made significant contributions as a detective in Financial Crimes and is currently serving in the Criminal Registration Unit. Over the years, Marcus has worked in various units, including the Bureau of Organized Crime, Gang Investigations, and the Troubled Building Unit. Beyond his impressive career in law enforcement, Marcus has spent the last five years as an Adjunct Professor in the Public Safety Institute at Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting, Indiana.
