✨ Celebrating 6 Years of Gold Impact with Vanity Fair! ✨ From a team of volunteers to an industry-defining force, Gold House has spent six years forging cultural excellence and socioeconomic progress for the Asian Pacific community. Here’s how we’ve made an impact together: 🎬 In Narrative Change: we’ve deployed industry-leading research, consulting, investments, and promotion on 400+ major media projects, including Everything Everywhere All At Once (the most-awarded film in history!), to ensure affirming mainstream portrayals. Our Creative Equity Fund has invested in 15 films and 2 animation studios, including the award-winning Dìdi (弟弟), to greenlight more authentic stories. We’ve now expanded our expertise into journalism, advertising, gaming, and food. Through our partnership with OpenTable, we launched the Gold Chef Prize, and brought South Indian flavors to the Prabal Gurung creative-directed Gold Gala with a menu curated by Culinary Directors Padma Lakshmi and Michelin-starred chef Vijay Kumar of Semma and Unapologetic Foods. 💰 In Economic Empowerment: With Gold House Ventures, we’ve invested in 78 companies, our startup accelerator alumni have raised $2 billion, and we’re proud to power the largest top Asian Pacific founder network in North America. With Gold Bridge, we’re connecting Asia and North America for investment and collaboration. Anchored by Gold Prix during Singapore F1 week in partnership with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), we gather 200+ founders and creators to explore Southeast Asia’s market, which is projected to reach $1 trillion by 2030. And on the success of our first fund and global reach, we’re now raising Gold House Ventures II. 🤝 In One House: Partnering with leaders like the Sundance Institute, East West Bank Foundation, and leading multicultural organizations, we have advanced collaboration and capital for diverse filmmakers – with collective convenings during mainstream awards and a first-of-its-kind One House Filmmakers Fund – and reshaped corporate power by securing more than 60 publicly-traded and privately-held Board Director positions. As our full-time Team, Fellows, volunteers, Membership, and network grow, Gold House’s work will continue to power tomorrow for all. Learn more about how we can collaborate and how you can join the movement at goldhouse.org.  We're not waiting for a seat at someone else’s table; we’re building our own house. 🔗: goldhouse.org/vanityfair Photography: Huy Doan | Editing: @p_t_gibson

Happy Diwali! 🪔 Gold House was honored to celebrate Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, with our incredible South Asian community during several moments throughout the month of October: 🪔 We partnered with the Ramesh and Kalpana Bhatia Family Foundation to host “A Night to Soar”, a celebration highlighting South Asian SOAR, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending gender-based violence in the South Asian diaspora. 🪔 We created an intimate night to remember with Anita Dongre and Brown Girl Magazine to mark the first-ever Diwali Barbie, which sold out within its first 24 hours. 🪔 We supported the Diwali All That Glitters Ball, bringing our star-studded South Asian community together in a glamorous fashion. Thank you to our partners for shining a light on Diwali’s ever-growing cultural impact; thank you to our guests for celebrating the light amidst the darkness and manifesting wealth, success, and prosperity for the near future; and thank you to our incredible team for bringing to life these heartwarming moments! 💛

We’re thrilled to have our Creative Equity Fund General Partner and Head of Creative Accelerators, Christine Yi, named one of Variety's New Leaders! New Leaders recognizes the most pioneering new establishment of changemakers across media, entertainment, and narrative change. Christine began her Gold House tenure building Futures, our network of top next-generation creators, founders, and impactful leaders. Boasting more than 16 market-leading accelerators and prizes with industry titans like Netflix, Spotify, Endeavor, East West Bank, Brooks Brothers, and many more, she’s grown the intimate community to thousands of next-generation leaders. 18 months ago, she debuted Gold House’s Creative Equity Fund, which reshapes creative greenlighting power by investing in independent films and media companies. Already, the fund has invested in two media companies (anime roll-ups that can birth the next great franchise IP) and 15 feature films including Sean Wang’s Sundance-winning “Dìdi,” Vera Miao’s “Rock Springs,” Lloyd Lee Choi’s “Lucky Lu,” and many more to be announced soon. We’re proud of Christine for blending uncompromising creative excellence with cultural imperative. She is particularly grateful to the Gold House Creative Advisory Board for their expertise, time, and partnership including Nina Yang Bongiovi (Producer), Abhijay Prakash (President, Blumhouse), Albert Cheng (VP, Prime Video), Anderson Le (Artistic Director, Hawaii International Film Festival), Andrew Kim (CFO, Participant), Anita Lee (Chief Programming Officer, Toronto International Film Festival), Bennett Pozil (Head of Corporate Banking, East West Bank), Bobby Singh (EVP, MACRO), Cara Cusumano (Festival Director, Tribeca Film Festival), John Cheng (Head of Film & Television, 3AD), Jon M. Chu (Filmmaker), Jonathan Wang (Producer), Kim Yutani (Director of Programming, Sundance Film Festival), Kirstin Carag (VP, Focus Features), and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy (Journalist & Filmmaker). Prior to Gold House, Christine worked in management consulting and retail strategy before founding a cannabis company, scouting for VC funds, and serving as Lead Venture Architect at the Boston Consulting Group. She is based in New York City. Swipe to celebrate some of the other New Leaders of Hollywood, including Vivian Kwok, Joanne Lee, and Cheryl Wei! ✨
