Online reviews drive our business successes and are a daily focus within our company. Having just won an online advertising partner's “Top-Rated Dealer” award, it stated that less than 10% of dealers earn this award! In years past, I wasn't as in awe of these types of awards, but in today's online review climate, I started putting much more faith into it! However, we are not immune to the quick trigger of negative online reviews that seem to be happening more often. Our reputation, built over 20 years, speaks for itself. Recently, we received a phone call accusing us of being another dealer who had just changed our name to avoid all “their” negative reviews. We assured the caller this was not the case, our name hadn’t changed, and we were new to this Mesa location. Within minutes of hanging up the phone, this person had blasted our dealership online with a negative review. Our business principles have been consistent over the years. We put the customer first and stand behind the vehicles we sell. We understand that many people consider buying a car the second largest purchase outside of a house. We don't take this lightly and do our best to ensure the vehicles are in excellent cosmetic and mechanical shape. These are machines; machines do fail, and on occasion, there is only so much you can do for a 12-year-old vehicle that has lived in Arizona for its entire existence; bushings get dried out from the heat, batteries can be good one day and not work the next day, etc... That said, we take a negative review personally and contact the customer right away. We want everyone to walk away with a good feeling after working with us. Being a family-owned and operated store with many employees who have families and some retirees who depend on this job carries a heavy burden. We appreciate all that do leave a review and will continue to work with customers who run into issues. I know it happens; wish people's first instinct is to contact us to discuss the problem and allow us to make it right.i

The days of getting the Sunday newspaper, opening the classifieds, and circling the vehicles you're interested in are long behind us! At Goldie’s Motors, we embrace modernity by advertising our vehicles on over 70 websites and social media channels and tapping into our expansive customer database. Consignors benefit from this extensive reach for a low fee, charged only after the sale. This approach makes the consignment process enjoyable and seamless for everyone involved. Customers appreciate our expertise from a fresh perspective. Consignment vehicles are a core component of our business model. By leveraging our brand and exceptional customer service, we help our valued customers and friends get the best value for their vehicles. It's a common scenario: you're ready to acquire a new vehicle, but the trade-in offer for your current one needs to be higher. At that moment, you must weigh the time and effort against the lower offer. That's where we come in. Over the years, we've developed a seamless process to maximize the consignors' value. In today’s market, where financing vehicles are more prevalent than writing checks, we manage the entire transaction from start to finish. This includes paying off the consignor's existing loan and ensuring a smooth vehicle delivery. With us, you can get the best value for your vehicle. So, next time you need to sell a vehicle, don’t hesitate to contact Goldie’s Motors. Each vehicle has a unique journey, and we’re here to handle the service, detail, and sale components, ensuring you get more money in your pocket!

Pre-Sale Vehicle Inspections, “PSI”, are very important when buying a used car, especially from a private party. I bring this up because recently a customer brought in a vehicle they purchased from a private individual. It wasn’t a lot of money, but it was all they saved. After having it towed to our service shop, our mechanic did a thorough inspection. It took only an hour (that’s our typical PSI time), and that is when we discovered the engine on this vehicle was bad. We feel terrible for the young new car owner, but this is a great lesson for everyone. That is the importance of doing a PSI prior to buying a used vehicle. We highly encourage all of our out-of-state buyers here at Goldie’s to get a PSI done before we put it on transport. Like a home inspection, before your escrow money goes hard, the PSI will notify you of any red flags the vehicle might have. These are machines and there is always a reason the vehicle is being sold. At Goldie’s Service, we offer PSIs to customers even when they are not purchasing a vehicle from us. This is a low-cost inspection that could help you from making a costly mistake. Or give you some information that can help you negotiate a better price, knowing you’ll have to do some mechanical work on that new vehicle you're purchasing. We are here for all of our automotive needs, including a Pre-Sale Inspection on any vehicle you are looking to acquire. Give us a call to schedule!
