Great to chat to Future Alternative about the great things grubs do this week!
Climate start-up Good Grub is converting NZ’s food waste into high value insect protein with an NZ $3.54M grant from the government. 🥦🐞♻️ We sat down with Good Grub Co-founder Jessie Stanley to discuss her company's work to get the NZ black soldier fly larvae protein market off the ground and build a circular agricultural model. "We have partnerships with growers and that’s great because it means that we can have a really nice circularity for giving back for their crops. However, we will be doing a blended model where we will be using waste that was destined for landfill as well. We want to be as impactful as we can be." Huge thanks to Jessie for working with us on this piece. 🙏 Full story here: https://lnkd.in/giYhQDKy 👈 #futureoffood #foodinnovation #plantbased #alternativeprotein #insectprotein
