As a filmmaker, finding a niche in the esports world has been the greatest privilege of my career. There are incredible stories to be told in esports, and at Good Boy Creative we are very fortunate to collaborate with the best in the business at Riot Games. Since April of 2021, we have traveled all over the world crafting narratives and bringing them to the fans at a breakneck speed. The grind can be exhausting, but when you have an opportunity to bring a piece to life like today’s Lol Esports Worlds Finals Tease, it is all very much worth it. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for our incredible production team, creatives, and collaborators around the world who help bring the vision to life. Congratulations to T1 Entertainment & Sports & Joe Marsh on another World Championship. ZOFGK have cemented their place as the greatest roster of all time. We are forever thankful to Stefan Richardson and the rest of the Riot team for taking a chance on us and continuing to push to innovate and create world-class content in this space. Worlds 2024 Swiss Stage is here! With a 2 day shoot and 36 hour post timeline our team at Good Boy Creative produced this opening film that features all 16 teams competing for a spot in the Quarterfinals in Paris. As League of Legends MSI in Chengdu wrapped up, our team quickly pivoted over to Shanghai to begin production on Riot Games VALORANT Masters II tournament opening film. As is the case with most of our work in esports, we produced this film on a very tight timeline; shooting B-roll scenes on May 18, the pro-player scenes on May 20-21, and releasing the film on May 23rd. Incredibly grateful to our colleagues at Riot Global & Riot China for the collaboration and support, as we attempted to deliver on one of our most ambitious projects ever.
