A year ago today I had brain surgery to remove an avocado sized astrocytoma glioma tumor that had been discovered 36 hours before. I literally went from leaving for the movies Friday night to having brain surgery Monday afternoon. It was crazy and you can go to my FB page to see the whole story. I am especially thankful to Dr. Troffkin the neuro surgeon, the amazing nurses and staff at Neuro ICU at Deaconess Gateway and everyone else that took care of me. From what I understand they did an amazing job and I’m lucky to be here. It’s incredible but every MRI since the surgery has shown zero signs of the tumor and I have completed radiation and chemo as a precaution. A year later, I feel good and have been working on my house and starting to look for a job. I’m ready to get back to life! I am making this post just to thank everyone that was there for me and ALL of the prayers! It means a lot to me. Thank you!
