Each year, employees in the program choose a cause they care about and organize a company-wide donation drive.   This year, our team supported Haven Clothing(https://lnkd.in/egt3ZvKi), a nonprofit that provides care packages with clothing, hygiene items, and meals for newly placed foster children and their families. We are thrilled to recognize the incredible achievement of our very own Jaquelyn Monahon, who recently received an award from the American Welding Society (AWS)! AWS is the global authority in the welding community, known for developing over 240 weld codes and advancing standards, certifications, and education worldwide. Jaquey hosted a memorable tour in November, welcoming 22 AWS members and six students from Warren Tech, a local technical school. During the tour, she shared insights into GPT’s processes, our commitment to quality, and the challenges we overcome in meeting stringent code requirements. She also coached students on welding quality and traceability while showcasing how our products, like the Electro-Stop Isolation joint, make a difference in critical Oil and Gas applications. The enthusiasm and curiosity of the attendees, paired with Jaquey’s expertise and passion, made this event a standout.
