Built in 1948 as an auto dealership facility with expansive bowstring trusses, Graham Baba is redesigning the Renton Pavilion to be home to a new Public Market. Reimagined as the crown jewel of the urban center, the new design will include over a dozen small incubator tenants, two larger restaurant spaces, and upgraded support areas and utilities. Improved finishes and lighting will brighten the large central space, and direct attention back to the original wood ceiling. The dynamic mix of businesses and community events held in the Renton Pavilion will activate the downtown area and connection to the adjacent public plaza and recreation. Stay tuned for more project updates from Renton! On the boards is a new #pavilion for the Wenatchee Riverfront Park located just east of downtown Wenatchee, nestled along the Columbia River. GBA's scope includes the design of an open-air pavilion, new public restrooms, and a mechanical room addition. With access to the Apple Capital Loop Trail and Columbia River beyond, the pavilion provides much needed gathering space for the community. The new, gender-neutral restroom is located adjacent to the existing Wenatchee Riverfront Railway creating an inclusive space for all visitors. With the addition of the pavilion and new restroom building, as well as significant landscape improvements, the PUD backed project aims to increase community engagement across the area. Stay tuned for project updates! We’re launching our latest project: environmental graphics, signage, and installations across an ambitious 17-building, 70-acre expansion of a global tech company’s campus in Redmond, Washington. We collaborated with LMN Architects on four of these new buildings, and worked closely with Graham Baba Architects who led the design of two expansive food halls. Up first we’re showcasing the food halls, which together cover over 90,000 square feet. Offerings from over 30 vendors range from “Local Flavors” (supporting northwest businesses), to tasty fare from around the world. Amidst expansive original illustrations and a comprehensive signage system, we designed distinctive installations to invite staff to sit back, relax, and know that — whatever the flavor — it’s all good. Step inside the new tasting room at Fidelitas Wines in Woodinville! To create some variation in scale inside the existing warehouse structure, the design was anchored by a jewel box at the center of the space, containing the private or family tasting room. It formed the backdrop to the bar, and broke the space up into three volumes; each becoming zones with distinct seating and ambiance options for guests. https://lnkd.in/gkPHEHJs Architecture / Interior Design: Graham Baba Architects General Contractor: R Miller Construction Fabrication: Steve Clark Photos: Zack Bent

Soaking up the last days of Seattle summer at Métier Brewing Company! We recently visited Métier, Washington state's first Black-owned brewery, at their Flagship taproom on Cherry Street in the Central District, to see the space hard at work. The taproom, designed by our team, occupies a former auto garage (before photo) and is a must-visit during for good beer, various events, and a great patio. https://lnkd.in/gxkaYADY Architecture: Graham Baba Architects Shell & Core Contractor: Plumb Level Square T.I.
