In late August we proudly broke ground on Methodist Jennie Edmundson Behavioral Health! This marks an exciting new chapter for the partnership between Nebraska Methodist Health System and Acadia Healthcare as we work towards building a state-of-the-art behavioral health hospital serving western Iowa and eastern Nebraska residents. Set to open in 2026, this modern campus will feature 96 inpatient beds, including 24 specifically for children and adolescents, and will offer intensive outpatient services. Designed as a center of excellence, the new facility will invest in cutting-edge technology and resources to enhance access to high-quality behavioral health services in the region.

Graham celebrated #ConstructionWeek24 last week, a week to celebrate all those in the commercial construction industry. We hosted site lunches, delivered cookies, and promoted industry safety through a variety of trainings. Thank you to all our dedicated team members for what you do each day to build safe and strong communities.

This new training opportunity gives participants hands on practice fighting different types of fires. Our team had a lovely evening at the Legacy of Faith Gala celebrating 125 years of Mercy College of Health Sciences. The night was especially successful as the Graham Team won the dessert bidding challenge, earning us a delicious cake courtesy of The Bake Shoppe in Windsor Heights.

Please help us in congratulating Dave Armantrout as he retires today after 36 years at Graham Construction. Dave started his career with Graham on April 8, 1988 as a laborer in Central Iowa. In 1989 Dave moved in to the Yard Manager and delivery role, managing moves to multiple different yard locations as Graham continued to grow and expand. In 2002 Dave became the Field Operations Manager and led our field for over 12 years. In 2015 Dave resumed his position as the Yard Manager and has been invaluable in building ‘The Yard’ into the Go-to Resource for Field Support. It is with true gratitude that we thank Dave for his support of our field operations as the Yard Manager, Field Operations Manager, one of the founding members of the Field Leadership Team and the Safety Committee. His support and willingness to take on any task has led to many successful quarters, projects, and celebration events. Congratulations Dave and thank you for over 36 Years of Living the Graham Mentality!

We recently celebrated with Grundy County Memorial Hospital on a Dedication and Ribbon Cutting for their new Imaging, Lab and Surgery Departments along with a new Foundation Office location and Specialty Clinic expansion. Congratulations on this beautiful new space that we are so proud to be a part of.
