Solid progress—literally! After 32 trucks of concrete, we're excited to say the slab is nearly complete and interior masonry has started on the new Lower School Building at Westminster Christian Academy! We are excited to be a part of this beautiful campus expansion project.

A bright future indeed! We are proud to be working with Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) and Jared Clark at Westminster Christian Academy to bring this addition to life.
A bright future ahead. Westminster Christian Academy has officially broken ground on their new 26,000-square-foot lower school building, a significant project part of the K-12 college prep school’s master plan. The lower school will feature twelve classrooms, a dedicated STEM area and specialized rooms for music, art, media and student tutoring. This development is integral to the academy’s broader vision, which also encompasses the design of a student activity center and an athletic center. GMC’s architecture, interior design and electrical engineering teams will work closely with partners PES Structural Engineers, MBA Consulting Engineers and SPG Planners + Engineers to bring this vision to life, ensuring that each phase of development supports Westminster Christian Academy’s mission and community values. #buildingcommunities #gmcnetwork #GMCGeorgia #GMCAtlanta #architecture #interiordesign #electricalengineering #design #groundbreaking #education

We are excited to see initiatives like this program hosted by Athens Area Women in Construction that introduce female high schoolers to careers in construction. We loved the opportunity to interact with such an intelligent group of students. https://lnkd.in/efj2FpPw

Clarke Middle School is so close to welcoming students to the new facilities. Over the next month, furniture will be delivered and teachers will claim their new classrooms. Before the next school year, you will see demolition of the existing school building. After the demolition process, our project team will finish up work on the gymnasium and administrative spaces. We are excited to show off the finished product, real soon.

We closed out 2023 with a bang as the City of Commerce Mayor and city officials joined us in kicking off the demolition phase for the Commerce Civic Center. We're thrilled to announce our collaboration with the city to renovate and enhance the functionality of a building that was once home to the Wrangler Jeans plant. Upon completion, this revitalized space will become the hub for various city services, including city administration offices, city hall, planning and development, payments and utilities, a place for community events, and much more! Stay tuned for updates on this transformative project that will not only preserve the city's rich history but also create a more accessible and efficient center for community engagement.
