As Grant Aviation continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of the communities we serve, we’re excited to announce a series of promotions in and additions to our leadership team. Please join us in congratulating and welcoming these individuals to their new roles: Gabe Kompkoff has been promoted to President & CEO, following Rob Kelley’s retirement as CEO. Gabe previously served as Grant’s President and Chief Financial Officer. Doug Deering has been promoted to Senior Vice President, expanding his leadership to oversee Station Operations as well. Doug has been a cornerstone in Grant’s Maintenance Department for several years. Cory Clark has been promoted to the newly created role of Director of Systems and Process Improvement, transitioning from his prior position as Director of Facilities. In his new role, Cory will lead efforts to enhance Grant’s technology infrastructure and systems. We would also like to welcome Kelley Tedd as our new Director of Facilities. Kelley brings over 20 years of facilities management experience across Alaska, Washington, and British Columbia. These changes come at a pivotal time for Grant Aviation, as we strive to build upon our successes and reach new heights.

Last month, Grant Aviation’s Vice President of Commercial Operations, Dan Knesek, and Director of Dispatch & Network Planning, Gabe Olin, attended the Bristol Bay Foundation’s ‘Neqa in Bristol Bay’ fundraising event. This year, Neqa in Bristol Bay successfully raised $300,000 to fund higher education and vocational training scholarships for Bristol Bay Native Corporation shareholders and descendants. Funds raised from this event also support cultural heritage activities in the Bristol Bay Region. Grant Aviation was proud to be a premium sponsor of this year’s Neqa in Bristol Bay event. We look forward to future opportunities to support the Bristol Bay community and contribute to their success.
