Morning scenic thrill seekers! And what a morning it is! We’re here in Portsmouth and a customer on the Stagecoach (South) Limited Coastliner 700 has sent us a pic of her with the Great Scenic Journeys QR codes on display on buses, showcasing the scenery, fab places to visit, attractions, local service providers, a customer satisfaction survey and message from the awesome MD, multi award winning Marc Reddy. Stagecoach’s services from Portsmouth, including the 700, topped the most recent Transport Focus ‘Your Bus Survey’ - champions of the UK, so you can imagine how excited we are to launch this initiative here with the creme de la creme of marketing, Stacey Churton Steve Thorpe & team! Here’s also a photo of Steve, one of the drivers this morning too - friendly just like all here and no surprise they hit pole position in the charts! The cricket season starts in a fortnight and Spring is on the way! It's been a crazy few weeks here at Great Scenic Journeys, and we're delighted to launch a range of new products for the Summer, including our on-bus and bus stop QR codes that bring to life the journey experience with fascinating information about the scenery, places to visit and destinations as well as an interactive customer satisfaction and message from the bus company MD! We've also launched bespoke downloadable itineraries to cater for all customer tastes - culinary to culture, sports to sea life - aligned to specific bus and train times! Other new products include tourism training for bus drivers and hosts, as well as volunteer staff at steam railways too, field marketing for companies at attractions and in hotels and campsites, and managing multi-operator marketing campaigns. We're excited to launch a partnership with a nationwide rail operator shortly as members and a whole host of new bus companies are joining the fun before the first ball is bowled at the start of the season!
