Promoting the interests of our members through legislative advocacy, education, and networking. We support housing quality, value, and choice throughout the Greater Charlotte community. Toddi Johnson - Liberty Group, Branch Manager The GCAA Ambassadors Program was established in 2017 as a way for new association members to build connections with seasoned and successful GCAA members. The goal of the mentor/mentee relationship is to launch and amplify your time, effort, and monetary investments. Here's what Toddi says about her role as a Ambassador Program Mentor: I am excited to be a part of the Ambassador program! I am looking forward to connecting with individuals and companies that are new to the GCAA and show them how gratifying it can be to be involved in such a wonderful organization. I have been in the industry for over twelve years now and started my multifamily career onsite and I am now a supplier. There are many benefits to being involved with the GCAA on both sides of the playing field. Education opportunities, Networking events, Volunteer opportunities and much more! I am eager to share my knowledge and experiences with the GCAA to help guide someone to grow successfully in their career.   • Mike is a Senior Director of Real Estate with Greystar in Charlotte, responsible for executing property management strategy in a portfolio consisting of 14,490 units across 54 communities. Before joining Greystar, Mike was the Vice President of Asset Management for Terwilliger Pappas, creating a platform to oversee the operating and financial performance of approximately 3,000 units in the firm’s “Solis” communities across the Southeast. Prior to joining Terwilliger Pappas, Mike worked for Crescent Communities in asset management, overseeing a Sunbelt portfolio spanning from the Carolinas to Phoenix. Before Crescent he began his career in multifamily with Boston Capital, holding roles in acquisitions and asset management. Mike’s experience includes development, lease up, acquisition, disposition and involvement in a variety of assets including mixed use, mid-rise, high-rise and garden. Mike has twelve years of industry experience and earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his Master of Science in Real Estate from University of North Carolina – Charlotte’s Childress Klein School of Real Estate.
