Playoff baseball is back in Cleveland, and as the Cleveland Guardians host the Tigers in the division series, millions of dollars are expected to boost the city’s economy. From tickets and parking to meals and hotels, the financial impact will be significant. “Any extra night where we have approximately 35,000-plus people at a sold-out stadium — plus more who are eating, drinking, and frequenting downtown businesses — is a huge boost for the city.”—Tyler Sinclair, Cleveland City Hall spokesperson 🔗 https://lnkd.in/egE4t4Dd #GreaterCLE #AllIn Cleveland Guardians City of Cleveland - City Hall Destination Cleveland Downtown Cleveland Progressive Insurance

Officials began the first step of the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) multibillion-dollar modernization project this past week with the symbolic demolition of the former Sheraton hotel. The Sheraton will be fully demolished by early November, clearing the site for expanded parking. Plans for the new parking area are expected to be ready by as early as 2026, but the timeline is not final. "It has held an important role for many years at the airport, but now we are clearing the way so that we can move forward and begin to introduce the Cleveland Hopkins of the future that all of our users deserve.”–Bryant L.
