Our September program, "Reconnecting Louisville: The Power of Communication in Downtown Revitalization," is quickly approaching on Thursday, Sept. 19, from noon to 1 p.m. at Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) One of our panelists, Clark Welch, is the Vice President of Economic Development for GLI. Prior to joining GLI in February 2023, Clark worked as a senior associate for Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) in Washington, D.C. He also worked for the International Economic Development Council and the European Commission, giving him extensive experience in national and international economic growth strategies. He started his career working in economic development for the Louisville Downtown Partnership in 2010. Clark oversees GLI’s growing economic development team, operations of the Greater Louisville Partnership, and the organization’s strategy to bring more jobs and investment to the 15-county region. He also oversees the Greater Louisville Partnership’s project pipeline, generating leads, supporting site searches, and assisting county partners in locating transformational projects.
