Once home to blacksmiths, shoemakers, and grocers, this cobblestone street preserves the legacy of the artisans and laborers who built Colonial America. Of the 32 homes still standing, many are privately owned and inhabited today. If you’ve ever wondered what life looked like in George Washington’s time, this is the place to visit. History buffs, put this National Historic Landmark on your must-see list! Who’s up for exploring? 🙂
