💡 “Driving systemic change through Soci(et)al Engagement for real impact” was the focal topic of the #OpenLivingLab Days 2024 Conference, which is a flagship annual event organized by the ENoLL (European Network of Living Labs). The GREEN-LOG project was represented at the conference by two research-in-progress papers presented by partners from Halmstad University.   1️⃣ The first paper, delivered by Melania Mihalcea, focused on using co-creative filmmaking as a method for integrating user perspectives in living lab environments. This approach, rooted in the experiences of establishing urban living labs within the GREEN-LOG project, particularly highlights the Oxfordshire case study. 2️⃣ The second paper, presented by Gregor Cerinsek, explored a design ethnographic approach to staging and evaluating co-creation processes in GREEN-LOG Urban Living Labs. What an amazing three days at the CIVITAS Forum 2024 in Parma! Despite the rain, hundreds of urban mobility professionals and enthusiasts gathered for insightful sessions and dynamic discussions 🌧️☺️ The GREEN-LOG team exchanged ideas and experiences with city representatives, researchers, and practitioners during interactive sessions. Collaboration with diverse urban logistics stakeholders is key to finding solutions that fit everyone’s needs, ensuring successful implementation. 🏙️📦At the Urban Logistics Thematic Corner, our partners from Netcompany-Intrasoft, FACTUAL and MobyX showcased the latest findings and developments from the project, receiving valuable feedback from visitors. GREEN-LOG is now launching demonstrations of its pioneering solutions in five #LivingLabs across Athens, Barcelona, Oxfordshire, Flanders, and Ispra. We had especially engaging discussions with European city representatives on the co-creative approach and challenges faced in urban logistics. Sharing a booth with peer projects in the Urban Logistics field 🚲📦 gave us a unique opportunity to discuss last-mile logistics challenges and innovations. More importantly, we strengthened collaborations, pooling our knowledge and results to push towards greener, more sustainable urban logistics. This morning, CIVINET Networks are meeting in Parma to discuss collaboration and form even stronger connections between eachother. 🇺🇦 Dzvenyslava Tyslyukevych from the newly-stablished CIVINET Ukraine gave an inspiring presentation on Ukraine's plans, struggles and ambitions in terms of #transport and #UrbanMobility. 💙 Despite challenges, such as huge #accessibility needs (1 out of 8 people in Ukraine has accessibility needs) and decreasing #PublicTransport network and capacity due to plummeting resident counts, Ukraine is pushing forward and striving for #innovation, even in times of extreme difficulty. 🥳 CIVINET Ukraine has been celebrating recent successes: - Hosting the largest mobility forum in Ukraine in 2024 - Lviv leading in adapting public transport strategies during wartime - The largest number of ongoing projects and partnerships since 1991 - First assessment of 30+ cities to be published - 4 member cities + 6 negotiating On top of that, Ukraine is aiming at becoming a leader in #sustainable #mobility in Eastern Europe, which the CIVITAS Initiative is eager to support. 🤝 The presentation was followed by networking and lively discussions among the participants. The next steps for all CIVINETs will include preparation for the next CIVINET Forum in Brno this November. We can't wait!
