#Italy marks a new achievement for Greenvolt Power, where it has finalized an agreement to sell a €18.7 million solar photovoltaic portfolio to Nuveen Infrastructure. In total, 19 projects across various Italian regions will be sold in phases, between 2024 and 2025, collectively delivering 153 MWp of #cleanenergy. This sale is in line with the asset rotation strategy set by Greenvolt Group, which, as CEO João Manso Neto points out, the Ready to Build phase “is where our advantage compared to other players in the renewable energy market is greater”.

Greenvolt Power was proud to be part of the Harvest Festivals in Samostrzel and Jabłonowo Pomorskie, #Poland, where tradition and #community spirit came together to celebrate the culmination of a year’s work by farmers. Our booth was a true hub of renewable energy, offering hands-on activities for kids, from creating eco-windmills to participating in electrifying experiments. The wheel of fortune added an extra layer of fun, challenging them to test their knowledge about sustainable sources. But it wasn’t just for the kids, we know everyone plays a part in the energy transition, so adults also had the chance to learn more about these green solutions. A big thanks to everyone for joining us, and to our team for sparking interest in clean energy and helping create joyful memories in these communities. 🌾🎉

On August 4, Greenvolt Power once again joined another municipality for a local event. The family festival in Kamionka, location where we have ongoing projects, organized several activities for children, such as educational games, competitions and actions aimed to promote #community spirit. By taking part in these activities, Greenvolt Group aims to get closer to local communities, show them a little more of what we do on a daily basis, often close to their neighborhoods, promote energy literacy and show that together we can develop a #renewable future.

We can consider that #BESS, or Battery Energy Storage System, is the theme of the year and has several significant benefits, especially in the context of #renewableenergy. At Greenvolt Power, we are committed to actively contributing to the transition to a more sustainable future, and investing in technologies such as #energystorage is a vital intervention for the improvement and optimization of the projects that we develop. With BESS it is possible to maximize the use of renewable sources, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and, consequently, reducing greenhouse gas emissions for the #planet.”

Earlier this week, we celebrated #WorldNatureConservationDay and Greenvolt Power took the opportunity to show, once again, that it is possible for nature and renewables to coexist in harmony. This time in #Portugal, we're presenting a set of solar photovoltaic projects, located in the Alentejo area and occupying a combined area of 10 hectares, where around 5.000 panels have been installed and are now producing clean #renewableenergy. At Greenvolt Group, we only invest in 100% #renewable energies that have a positive and transformative impact on nature, always considering the importance of integrating our projects into their natural environments. By harnessing the power of the sun, Greenvolt Power aims to highlight the incredible potential of solar energy to drive sustainable development.

Greenvolt Power is committed to continuing its educational mission to promote #greenenergy. Education through fun - under this motto, we prepared three interactive stands in Skarszewy Sobotki, Poland where participants could explore the secrets of renewable energy. The first stand, titled "electroWorld", was equipped with a specially designed model where children and adults could learn the principles of construction and operation of power lines.   The second stand, dedicated to the power of the Sun, revealed the secrets of photovoltaic technologies to participants. From solar car races to cooling fan hats, each experiment was an opportunity to learn about using #solarenergy.   Finally, the third experience, the "Arena Piorunów", attracted crowds of people willing to participate in experiments with electrostatics. From styling "stormy" hairstyles using a van de Graaff generator, to experiments with a live electricity-conducting chain - each participant had the opportunity to feel the effects of electrostatic forces on their own skin. These initiatives demonstrate that learning can be fun, bringing a new perspective on green technologies and integrating the local community around key energy and #environmental issues as was done last month in Skarszewy Sobotki.

The Academy of Capital Market Leaders summer school, organized by Fundacja im. Lesława A. Pagi has officially opened, attracting ambitious young people interested in a career in the financial industry. As a partner of this prestigious event, Greenvolt Power actively participated in the educational program, where the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) department, represented by Nazar Holovchak, M&A Manager at Greenvolt Power Poland, conducted a case study for the participants of the initiative to experience the real working conditions as a financial analyst. "It's a special feeling to be able to pass on knowledge and show how theoretical issues are applied in practice," says Holovchak. This initiative provides an excellent platform for young talent to gain invaluable experience needed to succeed in competitive capital markets and aligns with #GreenvoltPower commitment to the development of future leaders and the promotion of financial education.

Last month, the residents of Sompolno had the opportunity to participate in a unique event – The Picnic with #Power, which took place in the heart of the city. As part of its educational mission to promote renewable energies, Greenvolt Power organized several activities and animations for children. These young minds had the opportunity to learn a little more about #wind and #solar energy, while putting their hands to work in practical activities. "Our main goal is to educate the youngest in the spirit of respect for the natural #environment and to understand how important renewable energy sources are for our future," says Krzysztof Pokorski, one of the educators. “A picnic is an excellent opportunity to convey these values to children in an accessible and attractive way.” The Picnic with Power in Sompolno is not just a moment of fun, it’s also an important lesson in environmental responsibility. Initiatives like this show how local events can help create environmental awareness in society, while providing a moment of entertainment for families.

Today, we celebrate #GlobalEnergyIndependenceDay 🌍, reminding everyone of the importance of taking decisive steps toward a future powered by #RenewableEnergy. We know that transitioning to cleaner energy is crucial to protect the environment and the #planet. But, it's also essential to realize that achieving #EnergyIndependence and self-reliance is a matter of stability and security for nations, safeguarding them from geopolitical tensions, price fluctuations, or supply disruptions. We believe that diversifying #energy portfolios and focusing on renewable sources should be a shared goal for everyone in the pursuit of a #sustainable and more resilient world.
